Seymour Most Recently Served as Athletic Director at St. Gregory’s School in Loudonville

(Albany) November 24, 2024 — Dr. Martin Kilbridge, President of Academy of the Holy Names, announced today Steve Seymour P’23 has been appointed as AHN’s new Athletic Director. Seymour most recently served as Athletic Director of St. Gregory’s School in Loudonville.

“We are thrilled to welcome a new leader with such a strong athletics pedigree and a deep connection to our AHN community. At a time when 75% of the student population participates in athletics, Steve will build on Holy Names’ storied legacy and further propel our program, creating more opportunities for our young women to reach their full potential,” Dr. Kilbridge said.

“As a parent of a former student-athlete at AHN, I know first-hand the value of an all-girls’ education and the opportunities athletics can provide. I look forward to carrying on the tradition of Panther pride and helping the next generation of girls becoming confident, competitive, and caring leaders on and off the field of competition.” Seymour said.

Seymour also served on the basketball coaching staff at the University of Virginia, LaSalle University, Siena College, Drexel University, and St. Anselm College. Seymour earned his bachelor’s degree in education from Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts.
