Every student at Academy of the Holy Names is assigned an academic advisor when she starts at the school.
Students and advisors meet once per cycle for 15-45 minutes to talk about how things are going academically and socially. Advisors make sure that students are involved in the school and community and can be a sounding board for students’ ideas or concerns. They make sure students are communicating with their teachers and getting the help they need.
Academic advisors also work closely with the College Counseling Office to make sure that students are in the right classes at the right levels.
Advisors help students …
