WNYT: WATCH: Academy of Holy Names star scores 1,000th point

(WNYT) – As the high school basketball playoffs kickoff around the Capital Region, one player has etched her name into the record books.

Going into the game against Lansingburgh, forward Maggie Volmer needed just eight points to reach 1,000 for her career. It didn’t take her long, as she rattled off eight points in just the first four minutes of the game.
