Dear Holy Names Family,

As the school year closes, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone in our school family for a successful academic year.

  • Thank you to our students for their smiles, laughter, determination, perseverance, service, and compassion.
  • Thank you to our graduated seniors who accomplished so much in the arts, academics, and athletics. A summary of those accomplishments was presented in The Weekly Watch.
  • Thank you to our parents and guardians for entrusting your daughters to us and supporting the mission of Academy of the Holy Names.
  • Thank you to our faculty for challenging and encouraging our students to be the best version of themselves.
  • Thank you to our staff and administration for supporting our mission with dedication, smiles, enthusiasm and patience.

While the students are on break, those of us who remain on campus will craft our new student handbook, launch our comprehensive curriculum review, establish an elected student leader training program, and develop other programs to foster a more connected community. We are very excited for the coming year and look forward to implementing changes in response to the feedback we have received from students and parents.

Everyone in this community has learned and grown, and I pray each member of our AHN family will enjoy a rejuvenating summer. As Father Longobucco reminded us a few weeks ago, this year’s school theme centered on love. Jesus instructs us: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. I pray every member of our AHN family will be on both the giving and receiving sides of this kind of love.

Peace and Blessings,

Margaret Taranto
