The Memorial 5K follows a cross-country trail featuring gentle inclines and declines, including a short section through a wooded area. Registration includes a long-sleeve event T-shirt. Coach Cherubino’s impact on AHN is immeasurable. Through his dedication, compassion and tireless spirit, he inspired generations of students and families both on and off the course. The Memorial 5K, along with Friday’s Youth Cross Country Race, is more than a race—it’s an opportunity to celebrate Coach’s legacy and carry forward the values he embodied every day: commitment, kindness, perseverance and heart.

All funds raised for the Cherubino Memorial 5K are placed in the Carlo Cherubino Memorial Fund (restricted) which directly supports opportunities in the areas of academic programming, athletics and facility needs. Carlo served as a teacher and administrator at Holy Names for 45 years because he loved the school and was passionate about its mission. In the two years since its creation, funds have been used to grow the Middle School Cross Country program, equipment for field management, Coach appreciation, and an annual Athletic Graduation Award. As the fund grows, it will continue to benefit students and the school community with resources that aim to carry forward Carlo’s legacy.
