Academy of the Holy Names, the Capital Region’s only all-girls, private, college preparatory school for grades 6-12, seeks a qualified Social Studies teacher for the late fall and early spring semesters (2026-27) for a maternity leave of three to four months (January to April – exact dates to be determined). The position entails teaching Grade 6 Social Studies, World History I, World History II, Participatory Government, Economics, and Religions of the World. This is a leave replacement position that would require availability Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Additional responsibilities include proctoring, student mentoring, and department meetings.
