Dear Friends,

What a joy it was to welcome so many of our alumnae back to campus for Alumnae Reunion Weekend! From the Class of 1957 to the Class of 2020, generations of Holy Names women gathered to share stories, laughter, and the kind of connection that only grows stronger with time. Seeing friendships renewed and bonds across the years reminded me just how special our community truly is.

The weekend was full of fantastic events organized by our Director of Alumnae Engagement, Katie Ann McDermott ’98. Katie Ann has also arranged for a gathering of alumnae in New York City next Wednesday, October 15 at 6:30 p.m. Thank you to Leah Van Deloo ’97 and Meagan Soszynski ’97 for graciously hosting us at the Center Bar at The Shops at Columbus Circle. There is still time to register –  we’d love to see you there.

Our recent alumnae magazine, EQV, added another layer to the reunion celebration. The focus on our athletic legacy – especially the cover story on Carlo Cherubino – sparked so many heartfelt memories. It was a beautiful reminder of the coaches, teachers, and mentors whose influence continues to shape our graduates long after they leave Holy Names.

As I reflect on the weekend, I am filled with gratitude—not only for the legacy of those who came before us, but also for the ways we continue to invest in the young women entrusted to us today. The strong foundation that allows our students to flourish, both here and beyond Holy Names, is made possible through the generosity of our community.

I invite you to join me in supporting this work with a gift to the 1884 Fund. Your generosity sustains the programs and experiences that help our students grow into confident, compassionate women prepared to make their mark on the world. You can make your gift today by scanning the QR code below.

And for those who would like to honor Coach Cherubino, we will host our Carlo Cherubino Memorial 5K and Youth Cross Country Races on October 25. We hope to see you there!

With heartfelt thanks,

Marty Kilbridge
