The Albany Times union has named the best athletes on girls’s tennis teams at Capital Region high schools in the 2023-24 school year and has placed AHN junior Riley Schmitz on its ‘First Team’ in Singles.
From the TU: “A fifth-year varsity standout who captured the 2022 Section II singles title as the No. 7 seed, Schmitz earned the No. 2 seed for this year’s tournament and reached the title match where she lost to Niskayuna’s Olivia Dartawan.”
