Homeward Bound Adirondacks empowers Veterans in Northern New York “to reclaim their lives and find hope beyond trauma”. They provide support services to help Veterans suffering from PTSD. Rylee and Kate organized a badminton tournament at AHN to raise funds for this organization. They also arranged an event at school where students created supportive greeting cards to send to Vets. Rylee and Kate created an informational bulletin board and posted flyers at school to raise awareness of the difficulties veterans face post military service. They raised $400 at the tournament through entry fees, a raffle, and the concession stand.
