Klarissa won the NYS title in the 60 meter dash as a freshman and swept through to senior year. She also won the state title in the 100 meter dash, 400 meter relay, and long jump. She was a sectional champion in long jump, 4×100, 100 meters nearly every year in high school as well as the Colonial Council Champion in the 55 meter indoor and long jump. The holder of numerous school records, Klarissa was one of the most prolific runners in the state during her tenure.
