Sidewalk Warriors offer meals, essential supplies, and a sense of community to anyone in need, and particularly the unhoused. They set up each week on the sidewalk at the corner of 5th and State Streets in Troy, NY…come rain or shine.
Chloe and Ella cooked 180 meals and passed them out during a Sidewalk Warrior event on a Thursday evening in the summer. They also coordinated a group of AHN students on our school service day in March compiling 100 meals out of 76 Diner in Latham. Chloe & Ella passed these meals out on an evening in March through a Sidewalk Warriors event.
Additionally, they raised awareness about this organization by creating an informative bulletin board in school and submitting announcements for Panther Vision.
