Yes, if you are at least 70 1/2 years old with IRA funds you can comfortably donate, you simply need to name Academy of the Holy Names as a beneficiary of your IRA account. The simple steps you need to authorize a QCD are detailed in our QCD Checklist.
WHAT ARE THE TAX ADVANTAGES?
If you are 73 years old or older, your QCD can count towards your IRA’s Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), allowing you lower your taxable annual income while making a tax-free donation.
