Gratitude for a Successful Year

Dear Holy Names Family,

As the school year closes, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone in our school family for a successful academic year…Everyone in this community has learned and grown, and I pray each member of our AHN family will enjoy a rejuvenating summer. As Father Longobucco reminded us a few weeks ago, this year’s school theme centered on love. Jesus instructs us: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. I pray every member of our AHN family will be on both the giving and receiving sides of this kind of love.

The Holy Spirit continues to animate the Church and it animates us, the Academy of the Holy Names community, in our mission to educate young women of competence, confidence, and compassion to build a better world.

Society of Sisters is celebrating its centenary and you can thank the ruling and the Sisters for the right of parents to send their children to independent schools and for establishing a precedent that has secured many of our civil rights.

They rejoiced in the approval granted by the Vatican on December 8, 2022, and HNEM was established. …
